Special Olympics of Crawford County is proud to bring annual Track & Field Event to the Crawford County fairgrounds for the 44th annual event. The 44th Annual Track & Field Event will bring athletes (including children and young adults) with intellectual disabilities together to compete in different sports such as walking/running, softball throws, frisbee toss, long jumping, turbo-jav throws and obstacle courses. The athletes compete in these competitions to qualify to attend the state competition games which take place in June at Penn State University.
Registration of athletes begins at 8:00am, the parade of athletes will begin at 9am and the event games begin at 9:30am. The theme for this year’s event is “Born To Be Wild.” We wish to invite the public, family members and friends to attend this year’s Track & Field event to encourage the athletes to perform to their best abilities.
