The Music Hall was a major source of entertainment in England from the late 19th century through WWI. Shows featured a variety of acts with singers, comedians, acrobats, animal acts, magicians, dancers etc. We will try to recreate some of this with an accomplished group of singers, actors doing comic monologues, including Jason Sakal, Alicia Great house, Adam Leute, Kathy Firster, Glenn Tuttle, Veronica Asay, and Christopher Seeley. Each show also will feature a different guest performerat. No two shows will be the same! For example, opening night will feature a trio of women performing highlights from Gilbert and Sullivan, next is Sacred Circle belly dance troupe followed by Picks and Hammers, a Celtic string band on Sunday. The second weekend will feature Allegheny Ballroom Dancers in Friday, Too Many Tubas tuba quartet on Saturday, and Salvation’s Road Gospel string band in Sunday. No two shows will be the same with regular performers doing different songs in addition to the guests. Discounts for attending additional shows are available. Shows will run November 9th to the 18th, Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sundays at 2:00PM.
Directed by local, Tom Hall, this is a show will have you coming back for more!
