Ashley Mattocks : That's the story

Singer-songwriter Ashley Mattocks mixes piano-driven melancholy with self-affirming optimism on her debut effort, That’s the Story. Drawing from 90’s piano rock influences as well as riffing on narratives from a beloved piece of fiction, she seamlessly crafts hooky pop tunes that make their point quick and leave the listener humming along for days.

Mattocks, born and raised near Meadville, Pennsylvania, is a South Florida musician and teacher. She maintains a private studio of over forty piano and voice students per week. Her weekends are spent pretending to be a diva at various venues, playing and singing both cover songs and original music.

Booking is available for weddings, cocktail hours and private parties. She also has 19 years of worship leading experience and is happy to sub-in for anyone who needs a Sunday off. She lives with her cheeky corgi, Eleanor Rigby, in Lake Worth, Florida, where she eats too much Ben & Jerry’s and spends too much time on Facebook.

Her first album, “that’s the story”, featuring ten original songs will be released in February of 2017. She will have copies of her album for purchase at the concert.
