CCOPC Faith-based Community Potluck
February 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm| Free
The CCOPC is collaborating with the French Creek Community Church for a Safe/Sober Spaces potluck. We’d like to bring some discussion of inclusion and comfort to Crawford County during this long stretch of winter. The Safe/Sober Spaces initiative seeks to coordinate services between drug and alcohol providers and the faith-based community to promote community events that are safe, sober, and inclusive for all.
Topics of conversation will include what the Crawford County Overdose Prevention Coalition and its faith-based subgroup do in the community, resources available in the community for those facing substance abuse, and a guest speaker to discuss human trafficking trends in rural areas. The topic of human trafficking will also tie to substance abuse and signs faith-based organizations can look for that might indicate someone is the victim of human trafficking.
Come to enjoy a cozy atmosphere with candles, hot chocolate, snacks, and fellowship! Please bring a dish to pass.
